Go back to read more about the Refer-A-Friend Program.
By participating in the American Bank Refer-A-Friend Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. In addition, by participating you are authorizing American Bank to utilize your name, as the referrer, in any and all correspondence sent to the referred individual involving this program.
Only an American Bank customer whose accounts are in good standing, and who is at least 18 years of age, may participate in the Refer-A-Friend Program (the "Program").
A customer of American Bank is eligible to receive one bonus per referral, regardless of how many accounts are opened by a referred individual, when the referred individual opens an interest-bearing checking, savings or money market account, and such account is opened with a minimum deposit of $100.00 and has an average daily balance during the first 90 days of at least $500.00.
The referred individual must be a new customer who does not have a personal deposit relationship with American Bank.
Referred individuals may not reside within your household. American Bank reserves the right to restrict this offer to one referral per household.
A referred individual must comply with American Bank's approval requirements for a new interest-bearing checking, savings or money market account, which American Bank may change from time to time.
A customer may only refer individuals with whom they have a personal or business relationship. A customer may not engage in any fraudulent activity to earn a Program bonus. In addition, no "spamming" is allowed. If we believe, in our sole discretion, that a customer has engaged in fraudulent activity, or is "spamming" email accounts and/or addresses, we reserve the right to exercise a right to setoff against the customer's American Bank deposit account(s) to recover any bonus payments, and the customer's American Bank deposit account(s) may be closed.
In order to participate in and be eligible for the Program, a referred individual must use the Invitation Number when applying for an American Bank interest-bearing checking, savings or money market account. Such invitation must be made on American Bank's website, www.pcbanker.com.
A customer will receive a bonus only if the referred individual has been approved and opens an American Bank interest-bearing checking, savings or money market account that remains active for 90 days and has an average daily balance of $500.00 or more.
All Program bonuses will be paid within thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the ninety (90) day period by crediting (i) the account specified by the customer, and (ii) the American Bank interest-bearing checking, savings or money market account opened by the referred individual, in accordance with the rules of the Program in effect at the time such referral was made.
If, prior to the payment of Program bonuses, the customer's account is closed, the customer will not be eligible for a bonus payment.
If, prior to the payment of Program bonuses, the referred individual's account is closed, neither the customer nor the referred individual will be eligible for a bonus payment.
If a referred individual does not open an American Bank interest-bearing checking, savings or money market account within ninety (90) days of the date of the invitation email sent by American Bank, neither the customer nor the referred individual will be eligible for a bonus payment.
Program bonus payments may be reportable as taxable income for Federal, state and local purposes. The determination of any applicable tax liability shall be the recipient's sole responsibility.
American Bank may modify the terms of the Program without prior notice by modifying the Refer-A-Friend Program Rules. American Bank reserves the right to end this Program at any time.
This program is sponsored solely by American Bank, 4029 West Tilghman Street, Allentown, PA 18104. The effective date of this document is March 11, 2010 .
